New Delhi: National Film Awards were announced on Friday. Rishabh Shetty was chosen as the Best Actor for the Kannada film Kantara. After the announcement of the awards, Rishabh expressed his happiness and dedicated his award to the Daiva dancers. KGF 2 director Prashanth Neel has also congratulated Rishabh for Kantara.

In a statement issued to the media on behalf of Rishabh, it was said that he is grateful to the Kannada audience, who took the film to this level. Rishabh said-
Seeing their support, I feel a huge responsibility. I will work harder and make better films for the audience. With great respect, I dedicate my award to the Kannada audience, Daiva dancers and Appu Sir. With the blessings of the Daivas, we have reached this moment.
Kantara was released in 2022. Now its part 2 is about to come, in which Rishabh is busy. His dance in the climax of the film was much talked about.

KGF 2 was declared the best Kannada film. Prashanth Neel attributed this to the performance of the film's lead actor Yash and the entire team. He also congratulated Rishab Shetty and Hombale Films. Prashanth said in the statement-
