New Delhi: For the past few days, heavy rain and storm like situation has been prevailing in many states across the country. Recently, a landslide occurred in Wayanad, Kerala, in which many people lost their lives and some are missing from their families.

Not only this, people were left without a roof over their heads in this disaster. In such a situation, South stars are coming forward to help. On Sunday, Allu Arjun donated Rs 25 lakh. Now actor Prabhas has also extended his helping hand.  

The actor donated 2 crores

Many people have been rendered homeless in Wayanad. The search operation of the rescue team has been going on for a week. On Saturday, superstar Mohanlal was also seen visiting the affected areas of Wayanad. He also announced financial aid of Rs 3 crore. The actor has donated an amount of Rs 2 crore to the Kerala Chief Minister's Relief Fund. People seem very happy with this step of the actor.

Before Prabhas, many celebs including Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan and Mohanlal have donated crores and lakhs. Allu Arjun donated Rs 25 lakh. Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan donated one crore. Actor Surya donated an amount of one crore. Apart from this, Pushpa actress Rashmika Mandana has also donated Rs 10 lakh to the Kerala Relief Fund.
