Approximately 5.73 lakh voters were deleted from Varanasi district, which included the largest number of urban areas. According to current information, Form 6 has been uploaded for approximately one lakh people.

According to the information received by ABP Live from the Varanasi District Election Office, the process of filling Form 6 as well as Form 7 and 8 in the district is being completed on a war footing by the government administration as well as the opposition parties.

One lakh forms uploaded in Varanasi

According to information received so far, nearly 100,000 Form 6s have been uploaded from eight different assembly constituencies in Varanasi. Along with the district election office, BJP officials and SP and Congress workers are also actively involved.

In the last phase of the SIR, information emerged that the names of 5.73 lakh voters from Varanasi were deleted, with the highest number of voters from the Cantonment and North Assembly constituencies in the urban areas. Following this, the process of adding these voters to the SIR has now begun. Members of various political parties are also working to ensure that no one's name is left out of the SIR list.

Voters should not be left out during elections

After the deletion of millions of voters, leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Samajwadi Party, Congress Party, and other parties in Varanasi district have now put all their efforts into adding their voters. Naturally, they are concerned that if these voters are not added in the upcoming elections, it will impact voting and could erode their political standing.
