Their engagement will take place on 8 June in Lucknow and the wedding will take place on 18 November this year at Hotel Taj in Varanasi.

Priya Saroj's father and SP MLA from Kerakat assembly seat of Jaunpur, Toofani Saroj said, 'Only family members and close friends and relatives will attend the engagement. The wedding will be a grand celebration and cricketers, Bollywood stars, businessmen and prominent politicians may attend it.'

SP MLA Toofani Saroj said, 'After meeting Rinku Singh's family in Aligarh, this relationship was finalised with the consent of both the families. Rinku and Priya already know each other. They met through Priya's friend's father (who is a cricketer). Both decided to get married with the consent of their families.'

Who is Priya Saroj; where did she study?

Priya Saroj has become an MP for the first time in the 2024 general elections from Machhlishahr Lok Sabha constituency of Uttar Pradesh. She is an advocate by profession and is 26 years old. Her father's name is Toofani Saroj, who is an SP MLA from Kerakat assembly seat in Jaunpur.

Priya Saroj was born in Varanasi. She did her schooling from Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute, New Delhi and then did BA from Delhi University and LLB from Amity University, Noida. She has practised as a lawyer in the Supreme Court.
