Remedies for Pitra Dosha
- Take a bath in the Ganga on the day of Hariyali Amavasya. If there is no facility, then take a bath and meditate at home by mixing Ganga water in the water. After this, take water in the palm and sip it. Now mix black sesame seeds and Bel leaves in Ganga water and anoint Mahadev, the God of Gods.
- To please the ancestors, offer water to the Peepal tree on the day of Hariyali Amavasya. By doing this remedy, the blessings of the ancestors shower on the devotee. It is believed that ancestors reside in the Peepal tree.
- On the day of Hariyali Amavasya, after taking bath and meditation, mix black sesame seeds and barley in Gangajal and face south and offer it to your ancestors. A person should offer it three times to grant salvation to his ancestors of three generations.
- If you want to get rid of Pitra Dosha, then offer tarpan to your ancestors on the day of Hariyali Amavasya. In the evening, light a lamp on the roof in the south direction. At this time, pray to your ancestors for happiness, prosperity and growth of the family.
- On the day of Hariyali Amavasya, donate food, clothes and money to the needy and Brahmins. Along with this, feed animals and birds. You can donate rice, wheat, potatoes, green vegetables, green fruits, salt, black sesame seeds, umbrella, leather shoes and clothes.
