Diwali 2025 Puja Rituals
- On the day of worship, wake up early in the morning, clean the house and take a bath.
- Purify the place of worship and the house by sprinkling Ganga water.
- Spread a red or yellow cloth on a clean stool.
- Make a seat of rice on the platform and place Lord Ganesha and Goddess Mahalakshmi on it.
- Make a heap of rice and light a big unbroken lamp of ghee.
- Place a pot filled with water on the right side of the platform.
- Put coin, betel nut and turmeric in the Kalash.
- Place mango leaves on its mouth and place a coconut on it.
- Apply tilak to them.
- Offer flowers and garlands.

- Chant Vedic mantras.
- First perform the aarti of Lord Ganesha and then of Goddess Lakshmi.
- Ask for forgiveness for any mistakes made during the puja.
