The company had announced a dividend of Rs 2.25 for the last financial year, for which the record date has been declared as 12 September. According to the company, its AGM is going to be held on 29 September. After the dividend is approved in the AGM, the dividend will be paid by 28 October. Monte Carlo Fashions A company included in the BSE Smallcap Index has fixed 22 September 2025 as the record date for payment of dividend. The same company has informed that its AGM is going to be held on 29 September. In this AGM, the proposal for dividend will be approved, after which the dividend will be paid. HBL Engineering A company included in the BSE 500 has fixed 12 September as the record date for payment of dividend. The AGM of the company is going to be held on 25 September. In this, approval has to be taken on the dividend, after which dividend will be paid to the investors. What is record date? Record date is the date when all the investors present as shareholders in the record of the company get the benefit of corporate action. Due to T plus 1 settlement, if someone wants to take advantage of a corporate action, then shares have to be purchased before the record date.
