News Topical, Digital Desk : A bizarre incident has emerged from Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. A young man, distraught over his wife's departure to her parents' home, arrived to meet the collector in an inebriated state. When security personnel refused to let him in, he climbed an electric pole carrying a transformer outside the collectorate and created a high-voltage drama. The situation escalated to the point where Collector Sudhir Kochhar himself had to come to the scene, bring the young man down, and take him to his chamber to hear his complaint.
Late last evening, a young man was seen climbing an electric pole outside the Damoh Collectorate. He was shouting incessantly, and his actions clearly indicated he was drunk. When people asked why, he said he had come to meet the collector, but security and staff wouldn't let him in. It turns out that the staff had prevented him from entering because he was drunk, which angered him.
The collector himself reached the spot
Collector Sudhir Kochhar, upon leaving his office to go home, stopped when he saw the crowd outside. In his presence, people urged the young man to come down, but he refused. Only when he was convinced that the Collector himself was standing there, urging him, did he climb down from the pole.
Hospitality was provided in the chamber, complaints were heard
The Collector then took the young man to his chambers. Despite his intoxication, he was treated with care and his problems were heard. Collector Sudhir Kochhar explained that the young man from Tidni village was unable to live with his wife. She was not living with him, and he was seeking help from the government and administration. The Collector stated that his problems had been heard and the administration would provide whatever assistance possible.
