She shared several photos on social media. She also recounted that golden night and revealed the songs that played on that special night. According to Saira Bano's post, there was no ostentation at her wedding. There was no fanfare, no elaborate ceremony, no elaborate designer. She didn't even print wedding cards. It was a very simple wedding, attended by just a few people.

She wrote, "That was one of the most memorable evenings of my life. On our wedding night, the song 'Do Sitaaron Ka Zameen Par Hai Milan Aaj Ki Raat' was playing, setting the mood and being a blessing to us. This song brought joy to my heart all night. At that moment, I felt like I could fly. That wedding night was like a dream come true."

Saira Bano was very young when she married Dilip Kumar. Dilip sahab was 44 at the time, and Saira was only 22. They faced many difficulties and obstacles, but they were determined to get married. In her post, she explained that Dilip sahab called her directly and said, "Call a cleric and perform the Nikah." This thought resonated deeply with her, and from then on, they decided to get married. Saira Bano wrote in her post that her wedding day wasn't a grand affair. There was no major designer for their wedding. There was no special planning, no decorator, no prior arrangements; it was just love. Saira Bano explained, “My wedding dress was made by a tailor who lived in our area. Everything was very simple, yet the day was absolutely perfect for me. Our wedding was supposed to take place in November, but fate decided otherwise, and the wedding was expedited.”

There were no special preparations for Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu's wedding. Both of them agreed to the wedding immediately. In fact, Dilip Kumar shared a funny anecdote from the time when Saira Banu brought the wedding procession to her house. Saira Banu said, “I remember that scene from our wedding procession was very funny. When the Sahib's procession was passing through my street, the horse's umbrella collided with his turban. Saira explained that she was on the upper floor of her house during the wedding. The entire wedding procession, including Dilip Kumar, the groom, had already arrived downstairs. However, when she was descending from the rooftop, it took her two hours to reach the bottom because of the overwhelming crowd. Saira also explained that due to the large crowd, there was a shortage of food at the wedding. People resorted to stealing small items and keeping them in their pockets as souvenirs. Some were stealing spoons and forks, while others were stealing other items. Words cannot describe what happened that day. Dilip Kumar passed away in 2021.
