News Topical, Digital Desk : Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the head priest of the Bageshwar Dham, has described the atrocities against minorities and Hindus in Bangladesh as unfortunate. He said that it has become necessary for the Indian government to take significant steps regarding Hindus in Bangladesh. If no action is taken, the identity of Hindus will be in danger. Hindus in Bangladesh must be protected. He advised that Bangladeshi Hindus should be given a place in India instead of Bangladeshis living there illegally.
In Durg, Chhattisgarh, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri said, “If we don't come to their aid now, Hindu unity will be meaningless. The Indian government must take concrete steps, whether secretly or openly, for Bangladeshi Hindus. If action is not taken now, the day is not far when Hindus and their existence will be completely threatened. While not extinct like the dinosaurs, we can certainly say that they will be greatly diminished, reduced, and limited.”
'Sloganeering alone will not protect Bangladeshi Hindus'
The head priest of Bageshwar Dham further said, "It is time for the Indian government to take significant action to raise the voice of the atrocities against Hindus globally. Hindus in Bangladesh must be protected. Bangladeshi Hindus should be given a place in India instead of Bangladeshis living there illegally. If action is not taken now, being Hindu, Hindutva, and Hindustani will become meaningless. Our brothers are dying and burning there, while we are here enjoying ourselves, shouting slogans and making speeches; this will not protect Bangladeshi Hindus."
It should be noted that two Hindus have been murdered in Bangladesh. First, Dipu Chandra Das and then Amrit Mandal. Both were lynched by a mob.
