News Topical, Digital Desk : UP News: Samajwadi Party national president and former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav has expressed deep concern about the digital security of the country. He said that today when mobile is in every hand, even vehicles and ships have GPS and every activity from banking to governance is based on the internet, then communication and cyber security has become a very sensitive issue.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said that technology may be developed at the global level, but when we use foreign technology, the government must exercise decisive control over it. In any emergency or sensitive situation, the security of the country should be paramount and the government should be able to control the operation of technology.

He said that cyber crimes are increasing continuously. Even big international companies are getting hacked and the common man is becoming a victim of online fraud. In such a situation, depending only on foreign technology can be dangerous. Therefore, it is necessary to move towards a self-reliant India.

The former Chief Minister accused the Central Government that on one hand it is harassing the local businessmen, misusing the agencies and demanding commission from the investors, while on the other hand it is opening the 'welcome gates' for foreign companies. He said that until a safe environment is not created for the businessmen of the country, the culture of production and research cannot develop in the country. He warned that if Indian companies remain agents of foreign companies, then even if the business grows, the production capacity and self-reliance of the country will decrease. This will have a direct impact on the unemployment of the country.

Self-reliant India is the solution- Akhilesh Yadav

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said that the real motive of any foreign company is not to strengthen the Indian economy but only to earn profits. Therefore, India should not limit slogans like 'Make in India' and 'Vocal for Local' to mere publicity but should implement them on the ground.

He said that the concept of self-reliance, equality, freedom and welfare state should be the real foundation of the country's development. If we give priority to our products, our services and our people, only then will the country's economy become strong, every hand will get work and food will reach every home.
