News Topical, Digital Desk : After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam , Jammu and Kashmir, anger against Pakistan erupted on the streets once again. On Sunday ( September 14 ) , Shiv Sena ( UBT) workers  reached outside Jalore Collectorate to protest demanding cancellation of the India-Pakistan match to be held in Dubai . A large number of workers and women under the leadership of Shiv Sena district chief Rupraj Purohit raised slogans against the government and submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi .

Shiv Sena district chief Rupraj Purohit said in the memorandum that the terrorist attack in Pahalgam , Jammu and Kashmir a few months ago had shaken the entire country. The terrorists not only targeted the brave soldiers of India but also killed innocent tourists. The countrymen have not been able to forget this incident till date. At that time, the Prime Minister had also clearly said from many platforms that "blood and water cannot flow together." Under this policy, the government had also taken strict steps like stopping Pakistan's share of water, which the public appreciated in the national interest .

Now when a cricket match is being organized between India and Pakistan in Dubai , questions are being raised that if blood and water cannot flow together then how can blood and cricket go together. Jalore Shiv Sena workers took to the streets due to this resentment .

Women also participated in this protest. They sent an envelope filled with vermilion to Prime Minister Modi and gave the message that playing cricket with Pakistan is against Indian identity. Women said that until Pakistan stops shedding blood in India, any kind of sports or cultural relationship with it should not be acceptable.

During the protest, Shiv Sainiks raised slogans and demanded the central government to cancel the India-Pakistan match. The activists said that this is not just a matter of sports , but it is a question of the sentiments of the families of martyrs and those affected by terrorism.
