Delhi: Young man shot dead before his birthday; son is just 18 days old:

A 27-year-old man named Gagan was shot in the head and killed near his home. The incident occurred just minutes before his 27th birthday, as he was preparing to celebrate at midnight.

According to the deceased's father, Ravi, Gagan had gone to meet a friend. While he was hugging him, he was shot in the head. The killer also fired two rounds in the air, causing panic in the area.

Upon receiving news of Gagan's brutal murder, a team from the Delhi Police, Crime Branch, and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) arrived at the scene and began a thorough investigation. The deceased's body has been placed in the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital (GTB) mortuary.

Gagan was married and had an 18-day-old son. He was the sole breadwinner of his family, and he also has three sisters. This heinous incident has left Gagan's family in a state of grief and mourning. The grieving family is inconsolable and demanding the harshest punishment for the murderer.

Currently, the biggest challenge facing the Delhi Police is locating the shooter. Police have registered a case and are examining CCTV footage from the surrounding area for further investigation. Local residents are also being questioned regarding the incident.
