According to the information received from the office of the Chief Medical Officer in Ghaziabad, four people have been confirmed to have Covid in Ghaziabad. Among them is an 18-year-old girl resident of Brij Vihar in Ghaziabad. The girl complained of cough, cold and fever. After investigation, the girl was found to be Covid positive and has been admitted to the hospital.
On the other hand, a couple residing in Vasundhara, Ghaziabad had returned from Bengaluru on 13 May. After returning, they had cough and fever. They were tested on 16 May and both were found to be Covid positive. Both husband and wife are home isolated at their home. The husband is 71 years old and the wife is 64 years old. On the other hand, a 37-year-old woman residing in Vaishali, Ghaziabad was complaining of cough and cold for four-five days. On the advice of the doctor, when the Covid test was done, this woman also came out to be Covid positive. This woman is also admitted at home. In such a situation, four Covid positives have been found in Ghaziabad, out of which three are in married home isolation while one is admitted in a private hospital.
Let us tell you that on Wednesday (May 21), Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the status of fresh cases of Covid-19 in the state in view of the global and national situation related to the latest subvariant of Covid-19 JN.1. During this, he said that at present there is no need to worry about Covid-19 infection in Uttar Pradesh, but in view of the global situation, caution and vigilance are extremely necessary.
