News Topical, Digital Desk : Aligarh Muslim University seems to be embroiled in a new controversy every day. This time, Pandit K. Ashish Sharma, a non-teaching staff member, has leveled serious allegations against the university's administrative officials. He says that even after more than four months, the AMU management has not met the employees' demands.
In fact, Pandit Ashish Sharma alleges that he is being misled by Aligarh Muslim University administrative officials in the name of an investigation. Several months ago, an employee he was with was thrown out of the office simply for administering a vaccine, a complaint about which was filed with AMU officials, and they were assured action would be taken.
The victim complained about the matter to the MP and the police.
When no action was taken in the case, he complained to the Aligarh MP and Hindu leaders, as well as the Aligarh police. The police assured the victim of action, but members of the Hindu organization threatened to hold a major protest at AMU in four days if their demands were not met.
Whom did the victim accuse?
In fact, Pandit Ashish Sharma, a non-teaching staff member at Aligarh Muslim University's Medical College, has leveled serious allegations against his department's Assistant Finance Officer, Sameer Mursil Khan. Ashish stated, "Four months ago, when he entered the office, he was chased away after comments were made about his vaccination."
Ashish claims he complained to the Aligarh Muslim University administrative officials, but no action was taken against the accused. This is why Pandit Ashish Sharma has issued a seven-day ultimatum to the Aligarh Muslim University administrative officials.
Warning of protest at AMU gate
Ashish Sharma says that three days have passed. If no action is taken after four days, all Sanatan followers have been invited. A major demonstration will soon take place at the AMU Babe Syed Gate, for which the AMU administration will be held responsible.
What does AMU Proctor Wasim Ali say?
AMU Proctor Waseem Ali said, "A petition was submitted recently by employee Pandit Ashish Sharma, and his demands were met by the AMU administration. The letter included complaints regarding salary issues, which were resolved by AMU officials." He added that the AMU administration is investigating the vaccine issue, and a committee has been formed. Further action will be taken only after the findings are complete.
What did the police say in the matter?
Aligarh Police stated, "Upon investigating a viral tweet posted on the social media platform Twitter on 08.01.2026, it was discovered that the complaint filed by Ashish Mishra (who is posted as MTS at J.N. Medical College) regarding salary discrepancy has been rectified by the AMU Finance Department and the arrears have been paid." A
committee comprising Dr. ND Gupta and Prof. Sartaj was formed by the AMU administration to investigate the complainant's comment about wearing a tilak by his colleague Sameer Mursil (who is posted as Assistant Finance Officer at J.N.
