News Topical, Digital Desk : The month of August is going to be special for the Ladli sisters of Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister of the state, Dr. Mohan Yadav, has announced to give Rakshabandhan gift this time in addition to the fixed amount for Ladli sisters. With the 27th installment of the Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana, an additional Rs 250 will be credited to the bank accounts of women as a Rakshabandhan shagun. That is, this time women will be given an amount of Rs 1500 instead of Rs 1250.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said, “Our double engine government is running under the leadership of the Prime Minister. We have said that in five years we will increase the amount for sisters to Rs. 3000. This year, this month itself, you will get Rs. 250 separately for Raksha Bandhan and Rs. 1250 separately.”

CM promises to give Rs 3000 by the year 2028

Giving this assurance, CM Mohan Yadav further said, "From Bhai Dooj, 1500 rupees per month will be credited to the sisters' accounts. This is the year 2025 right now. By the year 2028, 3000 rupees per month will come to your account. This is this brother's promise to the sisters."

He said that the blessings of the four and a half crore sisters of the state are my strength, due to which I am always ready to serve you. He said, "All our festivals strengthen the Sanatan culture and traditions but Rakshabandhan is the king of all festivals, in which we get the blessings of our sisters."

CM Mohan Yadav reached Talod village of Ujjain on Sunday (August 3), where he got a Rakhi tied on his wrist. He wrote on the social media platform X, "My resolution is tied with the thread of faith of every sister. Today, on the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan, sisters tied a Rakhi on my wrist in Talod village of Ujjain. The joy, love and feeling of belongingness that one gets by being among sisters is not felt anywhere else. This affection of sisters fills my heart with a feeling of belongingness.''
