According to religious beliefs, the Chhath festival concludes with the offering of water to the rising sun on the fourth day. According to beliefs, anyone who offers water to the setting and rising sun during the Chhath festival is granted all their wishes. Women observe this fast with the hope of long life, protection, and prosperity for their children. 

Time to offer prayers to the rising sun in major cities of Uttar Pradesh

The Chhath fast will be concluded tomorrow (October 28) by offering Arghya to the rising sun in major parts of Uttar Pradesh. Arghya will be offered to the rising sun at 6:13 am in Lucknow, 6:25 am in Agra, 6:08 am in Prayagraj, 6:30 am in Ghaziabad, 6:03 am in Gorakhpur, 6:03 am in Varanasi, 6:05 am in Ayodhya, and 6:29 am in Noida.

Similarly, offerings will be made to the Sun at 6:15 am in Kanpur, at 6:27 am in Bulandshahr, at 6:01 am in Kushinagar, at 6:02 am in Sonbhadra, at 6:04 am in Mirzapur, at 5:59 am in Ballia, at 6:01 am in Ghazipur, at 6:02 am in Deoria, at 6:07 am in Jaunpur, at 6:28 am in Meerut.

On the fourth day, offerings are made to the rising sun.
