Vibhavo Daanshaktischa Nalapsya Tapasah Falam
Chanakya Niti states in this verse that very few people experience these six types of happiness: edible food and the power of food, beautiful women and the power of love, wealth and the power to give. With all of these, a person no longer desires any other happiness. For one who has these six types of happiness, life on earth becomes like heaven.
2. Yasya putro vashibhuto bharya chhandanugamini.
Vibhave yasya santushtistasya swarga ihaiva hi ॥
The meaning of this verse is that for a person whose children are obedient, that is, who obey their parents in everything, whose spouse follows the path of the Vedas and who is satisfied with the wealth and prosperity he has, there is heaven on earth for him.
Acharya Chanakya explains this verse by stating that a home where fools are not respected, granaries are always full, and husband and wife are free from conflict is home to Goddess Lakshmi herself. Such a person's life is filled with joy, and they experience the bliss of heaven on earth while still alive.
