News Topical, Digital Desk : The Maoist organization has decided to temporarily give up arms for peace talks. This step is believed to be the result of increasing pressure on the organization due to the huge losses it has suffered in the last one month.

In this statement issued by party spokesperson Abhay on August 15, the central government has been requested to declare a formal ceasefire of one month and stop the search operations.

The release also mentioned that the Maoists are ready for talks with the government, be it with the Home Minister or a delegation appointed by him.

Maoists asked for one month's time

However, the Maoists have asked for a month's time to consult with their comrades within the organisation and those in jail.

Frightened by the death of big Naxalites

In the last one month, the Maoists have suffered three major losses, including the killing of Balkrishna in Gariaband, the killing of Sahdev in Jharkhand and the surrender of Sujata. Due to these incidents, the pressure on the organization has increased, after which this letter has been issued.
