New Delhi: The stock market has seen a great boom in the last trading week of August. On Friday, both the market indices closed at their highest level. Last week, the combined market valuation of eight of the 10 most valuable companies in the market increased by Rs 1,53,019.32 crore.

Last week, the market witnessed a great rise in the shares of Bharti Airtel and IT major Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services. All these stocks are the top gainers of last week.

How much did the valuation of which company increase

Bharti Airtel's m-cap increased by Rs 47,194.86 crore to Rs 9,04,587.12 crore.

Infosys' market capitalization increased by Rs 33,611.37 crore. After this increase, the company's valuation reached Rs 8,06,880.50 crore.

The market valuation of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) increased by Rs 31,784.9 crore to Rs 16,46,899.17 crore.

ICICI Bank's market capitalisation increased by Rs 18,734.3 crore to Rs 8,66,374.41 crore.

The market cap of Reliance Industries rose by Rs 13,396.42 crore to Rs 20,43,107.10 crore. The market capitalisation of HDFC Bank rose by Rs 5,600.24 crore to Rs 12,44,206.43 crore.

The valuation of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) rose by Rs 2,340.25 crore to Rs 6,73,390.88 crore last week.

State Bank of India's valuation rose by Rs 356.98 crore to Rs 7,27,935.97 crore.

Decline in the market cap of these companies

Hindustan Unilever's m-cap declined by Rs 8,411.54 crore to Rs 6,52,739.95 crore last week.

ITC's m-cap declined by Rs 4,776.48 crore to Rs 6,27,587.76 crore.

Top 10 companies of the country in terms of market cap

Reliance Industries is at the top of the list of top 10 companies in terms of market cap. It is followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, Infosys, State Bank, LIC, Hindustan Unilever and ITC.
