One such case has come to light from America, where an American police officer died after undergoing Brazilian butt lift surgery. After the surgery, 26-year-old Wildelis Rosa complained of severe pain.
The female police officer died on March 23, a day after her birthday. Earlier on March 19, she underwent a blood test before surgery at Prestige Plastic Surgery Clinic in South Florida and then the next day doctors took out fat from 12 different parts around her body and injected it into her buttocks. Rosa paid about 6 lakh 41 thousand rupees for the surgery.
Difficulty in breathing and then death
On March 22, Rosa talked to her family and told them about the surgery. Her sister Anamin Vazquez said that Rosa had told them that she was having some problems. She also sent a message on her birthday but did not get any reply. Apart from this, Rosa's friend told the police officers that after the surgery, Rosa went to meet the doctors and complained of severe pain. She also said that she lived in a rented house and was having trouble breathing. Also, her blood pressure was falling.
Rosa's friend further said that a day before her death, she had turned pale. Her pupils had become large, her lips had turned purple and she had no feeling in her legs.
'Rosa's death is a warning for those who are thinking of undergoing surgery'
Rosa's sister said she wants Rosa's death to serve as a warning to anyone considering the surgery. According to the New York Post, the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner's Office has certified 25 deaths from complications of cosmetic procedures performed by several different doctors and clinics in the past three and a half years.
