News Topical, Digital Desk : In Jaipur, lawyers have staged a sit-in protest outside the High Court, alleging negligence in the hospital treatment of a lawyer's mother who died there. Five months ago, the lawyer's mother died in a private hospital, and a case was filed. The case is currently in court, and the lawyers have been protesting outside the High Court since Monday (February 16). The city's traffic system has collapsed since then.
Lawyers demand no arrest even after a case is filed against the doctor
Advocate Jitendra Sharma recently admitted his mother to a private hospital on the Gopalpura bypass near Mansarovar. The lawyers allege that the patient died due to negligence in treatment. At that time, they protested outside the hospital and filed an FIR.
The lawyers on strike are demanding the arrest of the accused doctor, but even after the case was filed, the doctor has not been arrested. On the other hand, the Private Doctors and Nursing Home Association stated that the lawyers' demands are baseless, as the doctors have been cleared in this case.
Due to the protest, traffic has now been diverted in the city, which will be as follows:
- Traffic diversion on Janpath in Jaipur today, traffic closed on many routes and parking prohibited.
- Normal traffic will remain completely closed on Janpath from Ambedkar Circle to Sahadev Marg.
- Vehicles going from Ambedkar Circle to Statue Circle will be able to use Tilak Marg and Sahadev Marg.
- Traffic coming from Statue Circle towards Ambedkar Circle will be able to go via Janpath, Vaniki Path and Tilak Marg.
Due to the protest at the High Court, all these routes will remain diverted.
Due to the protest, vehicles going to the Secretariat and High Court will be able to reach their destination using Janpath, Vaniki Path and Tilak Marg. Traffic coming to the Secretariat and High Court from Tonk Road will be able to come via Tonk Road, Prithviraj Road, Statue Circle. Buses or minibuses and light cargo vehicles going from Sodala towards 22 Godown will be diverted towards Nataniyaon's intersection. Movement of vehicles from Narayan Singh towards Ambedkar Circle via Rambagh will be prohibited. Vehicles will operate via Narayan Singh Tiraha, Prithviraj T-Point, Prithviraj Road and Chomu House intersection.
