News Topical, Digital Desk : Sunday is a crucial day for the box office. Whether it's a recent release or an old one, films' earnings are bound to increase on this holiday, and this past Sunday was a particularly impressive one. This Sunday saw a major clash between not just one but four films , including three new releases: Haq, The Girlfriend, and Jatadhara, and an older film, Thama.

In such a situation, let us know which of these four films has topped the box office collection.

Who became the king of the box office on Sunday?

This time, the box office clash was fierce. New films Haq, Jatadhara, and The Girlfriend competed to outdo each other. Meanwhile, the 20-day-old Thama was also quick to stake its claim. Looking at the earnings figures for this Sunday's clash, actor Emraan Hashmi and actress Yami Gautam's film Haq emerged victorious.

Yes, Haq earned approximately ₹ 3.75 crore ( approximately $3.75 million) at the domestic box office on its third day of release, Sunday , significantly surpassing Jatadhara, The Girlfriend, and Thama. This makes Haq the king of this Sunday's box office clash. Comparing Haq's earnings to those of other films, the figures are as follows:

Haq - 3.75 crore

The Girlfriend - Rs 3 crore

Thama - 1.65 crore

Jatadhara – 1 crore

The surprising thing is that Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Thama is still showing its strength at the box office in terms of earnings and last Sunday it left behind South superstar Sudheer Babu's new film Jatadhara in terms of collection.

The dominance of rights continues

As the latest release, Haq has already surpassed Sudheer Babu's Jatadhara and Rashmika Mandanna's The Girlfriend in terms of total earnings after its opening weekend. Haq's total box office collection in three days has reached 88.5 million, while the other two films have earned 68.0 million and 31.4 million, respectively.
