News Topical, Digital Desk : Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He said that BJP has always believed and said that Arvind Kejriwal is not concerned with the happiness and sorrows of the people. He only calculates political gains and losses and today his insensitivity has once again come to the fore.

Virendra Sachdeva said, "At this time Punjab is facing the brunt of floods. There is an atmosphere of devastation all around, while Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is unwell. In such a critical time, Kejriwal has left the Punjabis to their fate and is on a political tour in Gujarat."

'Unconcerned even about Delhi's floods'

The BJP president further said that Delhi is also facing the flood crisis. The situation is especially serious in Chandni Chowk and Okhla assembly constituencies. But the AAP MLAs from these areas and Arvind Kejriwal himself do not seem to be worried about anything.

'Arvind Kejriwal busy in political tour'

Virendra Sachdeva said in sharp words that it is very regrettable that at the time when Punjab needs the cooperation of its leaders the most, Kejriwal has forgotten his political duty and is busy in political tours in his usual style.

AAP retaliated

At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party has hit back at BJP and CM Rekha Gupta. Former CM Atishi questioned the Chief Minister and said, "Rekha Gupta ji, what did you do to save Delhi from floods? The day it rains in Delhi, the whole of Delhi turns into a lake, there is waterlogging everywhere. Rekha Gupta ji, what did you do to save Delhi from waterlogging and floods?"

He further said that CM Rekha Gupta and her government had not made any preparations. When AAP was in power, we used to get the cleaning done 3 months before the monsoon and even after that, wherever there was waterlogging, we used to stand there and get the cleaning done.

Atishi also said, "Today many areas of Delhi are flooded, but no minister or MLA of the BJP government is going to inquire about the condition of the people. The relief camps set up by the government are also in a bad condition."
