News Topical, Digital Desk : Chandrakant Patil On Sanjay Raut: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut often remains in the headlines for his sharp statements. Meanwhile, BJP has hit back at him. Maharashtra minister and former state president Chandrakant Patil said that Raut seems to be suffering from political jaundice because he finds fault in everything. He will be given the right medicine at the right time.

Patil inaugurated a photo exhibition to mark the 11 years of the Modi government in Sangli, Maharashtra. Using a Marathi proverb with sarcasm, he said, “Sanjay Raut sees everything yellow. When someone has jaundice, he sees everything yellow. He seems to be suffering from political jaundice because he sees faults in everything. I know the medicine and I will give him that medicine at the right time.”

Achievements of Modi government counted

Highlighting the achievements of the Modi government, Patil said that PM Modi has achieved a rare feat by staying in the top post for 26 years, which has no comparison at the global level. He has been the Chief Minister of Gujarat for 15 years and the Prime Minister for 11 years.

He said the exhibition showed how the Modi government has lifted 25 crore people out of poverty and provided houses, LPG connections, tap water connections, free food grains and healthcare under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

What did Chandrakant Patil say about Raj Thackeray?

When asked about the next political move of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray amid talks of him joining hands with Shiv Sena (Uttar Pradesh), Patil said that it is difficult to predict Raj. He is like a storm. Just like no one can predict the path of a storm, no one can predict his move.

But we will soon know which way the storm is heading, he said. The MNS chief recently met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at a Mumbai hotel, leading to speculation about his next political move.
