News Topical, Digital Desk : Voting took place on Thursday (November 6) for 121 seats across 18 districts in the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections. A record-breaking 64.66 percent voter turnout was recorded in these seats. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar congratulated Bihar voters for achieving a historic voter turnout in the first phase of assembly elections since 1951. The fate of a total of 1,314 candidates will be decided in this first phase. In 2020, a total of 55.81 percent voter turnout was recorded in these 121 seats, while in 2020, a total of 58.7 percent voter turnout was recorded in all 243 seats.
