Bhupesh Baghel had posted on X and wrote, 'ED' has arrived. Today is the last day of the assembly session. The issue of trees being cut in Tamnar for Adani was to be raised today. 'Saheb' has sent ED to Bhilai residence.

Bhupesh Baghel wrote on Instagram, “Nobody in any democracy in the world can give birthday gifts like the ones given by Modi and Shah ji. On my birthday, both the most respected leaders sent ED to the houses of my advisor and two OSDs. And now on my son Chaitanya's birthday, the ED team is raiding my house. Thanks for these gifts. What is Chhattisgarh liquor scam?
The Chhattisgarh liquor scam reportedly started in February 2019. At this time, 200 trucks carrying 800 crates of liquor were dispatched from the distillery every month. It is said that initially, each crate was sold for Rs 2,840.
Later, as the operation expanded, the volume was doubled to 400 truckloads a month. The price of the box also increased to Rs 3,880.
The investigation revealed that in just three years, more than 60 lakh cases of liquor were allegedly sold illegally, generating illegal revenue of about Rs 2,174.60 crore.
