News Topical, Digital Desk : Ahead of the inauguration of the Noida International Airport in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued strict instructions for beautifying the surroundings. The Chief Minister stated that roadside greenery, attractive lighting, and excellent cleanliness should be ensured to provide a world-class experience for travelers.
Ahead of the airport's inauguration, the Greater Noida Authority and the Yamuna Authority have begun work on a war footing to beautify the area. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that all vacant spaces around the airport be planted with trees and special attention be paid to cleanliness throughout the area.
Noida International Airport (Jewar), being built at a cost of approximately Rs 10,000 crore, will not only be counted among the most modern airports in the country, but its campus and surrounding area will also become an example for its beauty, greenery and cleanliness.
Theme-based roundabouts will become the center of attraction
Roundabouts located on the main roads connecting to the airport are being given a theme-based design. These intersections will feature colorful flowers, ornamental plants, greenery, and lighting. Attractive sculptures and decorative symbols depicting the airport theme are being installed in the center of the roundabout, providing an international experience for travelers traveling on the Yamuna Expressway.
Greenery and cleanliness campaign gained momentum
Planting of grass, plants, and shrubs has begun around the Noida International Airport . Emphasis is being placed on increasing greenery around the control tower, cargo zone, and parking area. Teams from both authorities are working tirelessly on roadside planting, landscaping, and cleanliness drives to enhance the overall look of the area before the inauguration.
Landscaping will change the identity of the area
Special attention is being paid to drainage, pavement, and road width, from the airport's main terminal to the surrounding villages and roads. Plants and flowers are being planted along the roadside to make the entire area environmentally friendly and attractive.
Chief Minister gave strict instructions
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given clear instructions to officials to ensure that all major roads, roundabouts, parking lots, and public areas connected to the airport remain green and clean. He said that the beautification of Noida Airport should be developed as a model project for other airports in the state.
The Chief Minister also stated that the area around the airport should not only be attractive to travelers but also serve as an example of environmental protection. To this end, the local administration and authorities have been instructed to complete all work within the stipulated timeframe.
