News Topical, Digital Desk : On one hand, people have to face a lot of jostling to travel in roadways buses, while the picture in Barabanki, UP is just the opposite. For the last 6 months, 8 new electric double decker buses of UP Transport Corporation have been lying in the open ground in dust, mud, sun and rain at the Barabanki bus station. These buses are so high that the department has to think a hundred times before taking them out in the city.
These buses, bought by the department at a cost of crores at the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation bus station in Barabanki, have been parked at the Barabanki depot, but their operation plan has not been prepared yet. Neither charging points have been made in the district to charge these buses nor has a path been made for these tall buses to pass through. ARM Jamila Khatoon of Barabanki depot has also become tired of doing paperwork.
There is no arrangement for the operation of buses
He said that there is no arrangement to run these buses, correspondence has been done to the higher officials. ARM Barabanki Jamila Khatoon said that it has been 6 months since these buses came from the higher level. The charging point was not made and the vehicle arrived.
Operation is impossible without charging point
ARM also said that the charging point for the electric buses was not made, the vehicle had already come and stopped there. He clarified that till the charging point is not made, operation of these buses is not possible. These buses should not have come here without a charging point.
