News Topical, Digital Desk : The hearing in the witness intimidation case against Samajwadi Party National General Secretary Azam Khan will be held on Thursday. The testimony in this case is ongoing. On the previous date, Crime Inspector Satya Vijay Singh testified at Hayatnagar police station in Sambhal.

The witness intimidation case was filed by Nanhe, a resident of Mohalla Berian. He filed an FIR at the city police station on August 17, 2022, stating that he was the plaintiff in a case related to the Dungarpur incident.

Azam Khan is also an accused in the Dungarpur case. On the day of the incident, some people came to his house and threatened to kill him if he testified against them.

Based on his complaint, the police registered an FIR against Azam Khan and others. After investigation, the police filed a charge sheet in the court. The case is currently being heard in the MP-MLA Special Court (Sessions Trial). Charges have been framed against Azam Khan and others. The testimony process is ongoing.
