AXIS Bank has released the results for the fourth quarter (Q4) of the financial year. The bank has performed better than the market's estimates and there has also been a decline in non-performing assets (NPA). The net profit of the bank was ₹ 7,117.5 crores, while the estimate was ₹ 6,752.7 crores.

Net Interest Income (NII) stood at ₹13,811 crore, marginally higher than estimate of ₹13,792 crore. Profit on a year-on-year (YoY) basis declined marginally to ₹7,117.5 crore from ₹7,129.6 crore. NII increased on a year-on-year basis to ₹13,811 crore from ₹13,089 crore. Quality Improvement Gross NPA declined to ₹14,490 crore from ₹15,850 crore in the previous quarter. Net NPA declined to ₹3,685 crore from ₹3,775 crore in the previous quarter. Gross NPA ratio declined to 1.28% from 1.46%. Net NPA ratio has also come down to 1.28% from 1.46%. Declaration of Dividend The Board of Directors has recommended a dividend of Rs 1 per equity share of face value of Rs 2 each for the year ended March 31, 2025. This will be subject to the approval of the shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting.
