Just a few days ago, the makers released the first teaser for the franchise . Fans haven't yet recovered from the excitement of that teaser when the makers have released another teaser for Avengers: Doomsday.

While the first teaser featured Chris Evans aka Captain America with a baby, the second teaser of Avengers: Doomsday features Chris Hemsworth as Thor, which also highlights the family, but with full preparations.

Before going to war, he prayed for his daughter's safety.

This Thor-centric teaser also focuses on family, showing Thor praying for the safety of his adopted daughter, Luv, as he heads off to battle once again. Luv was first featured in the 2022 film, Thor: Love and Thunder.

The teaser begins with a forest filled with peace and sunlight peeking through the trees. In the middle of the forest, Thor prays to his late father, Odin, to give him the courage to protect his daughter as he prepares to join the Avengers to fight Dr. Doom. Dressed in casual clothes, he kisses his daughter on the forehead and tells her about his battle.

Love is the daughter of a villain, not Thor.

According to Variety, the baby Thor is raising is not his own, but the daughter of the villain Gorr the God Butcher . In Love and Thunder, Gorr vows revenge when his pleas to save his daughter are ignored by the gods. However, in his final moments, he abandons his vengeance and brings Luv back to life. He extracts a promise from Thor that he will raise Luv as his own daughter. Luv then accompanies Thor on all his missions and wields his hammer, Stormbreaker.

In addition to Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Tom Hiddleston, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, and Simu Liu are also returning to reprise their roles in Avengers: Doomsday. Avengers: Doomsday will be released in theaters on December 18, 2026.
