News Topical, Digital Desk : The month of Ashadha is the transition period between the end of summer and the beginning of rains. It has started from 12th June and will continue till 10th July. On 6th July, on Ashadha Shukla Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu will go into Yog Nidra for four months. After this, Lord Shiva will take the responsibility of running the universe. 

After this, Bholenath's favorite month Sawan will come. It is said that during this time Bholenath comes to earth with his family and controls the universe. In such a situation, worshipping and praying to Bholenath in this month brings auspicious results. 

Pilgrimage, river bath, chanting mantras, charity are of great importance in the month of Ashadh. In this month, one should wake up before sunrise, take bath, meditate etc. and then offer water to the Sun. After this, one should perform the Abhishek and worship of Bholenath along with the worship of one's Ishtadev. 

Perform Jalabhishek and Rudrabhishek

Jalabhishek and Dudhbhishek should be done on Shivling in Ashadh. Offering ash, dhatura etc. along with Belpatra brings relief from troubles. During this time, chanting the Shiva Panchakshari Mantra "Om Namah Shivaya", reciting the Shiva Chalisa and performing the Aarti of Bholenath brings spiritual peace.

According to religious beliefs, worshipping Shiva in Ashadh brings self-purification and mental peace. In this way, devotees prepare for their worship and intense worship in the month of Sawan, the favorite month of their deity. You can also worship Bholenath by chanting the Shiva Panchakshar Srotram.
