Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that India has changed in the last ten years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Secure and prosperous India is now moving towards becoming the leader of the world. In ten years it has become the world's 11th to 5th largest economy. Now in the third term of the Modi government, India will become the country with the third largest economy in the world. 

Becoming the third largest economy means the income of every person in the country will increase manifold. Then every public welfare scheme will achieve the target of 100% saturation. CM Yogi was addressing the gathering in Manbela on Friday afternoon after laying the foundation stone and inaugurating 76 development projects of Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA) worth Rs 1878 crore. 

He laid the foundation stone of 25 projects and inaugurated 51 projects including New Township Raptinagar Extension and Sports City. During this, he also distributed allotment certificates on the stage to the street vendors who got kiosks in Naya Savera. At the same time, before the stage program, Bhoomi Pujan was performed, the stalls of various departments were visited and Annaprashan was provided to the children.

'Developed Gorakhpur' of developed Uttar Pradesh is necessary

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that today the entire country has joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi's resolution of a developed India and this resolution will be fulfilled only through 'Developed Uttar Pradesh'. 'Developed Gorakhpur' of developed Uttar Pradesh is necessary. A developed country, state, and district mean that everyone should be assured of the benefits of government facilities without any discrimination. When everyone gets the benefit of the facilities, there will be happiness on everyone's face. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also made everyone announce in a loud voice 'Our resolution is developed India'.

The government will soon issue family ID card 

CM Yogi said that the government is going to issue family ID cards to every family soon. This card will contain details of every person in the family. If someone does not have work, the government will provide him with work. The government will personally go and provide this facility to those who do not have a house, toilet, ration card, or Ayushman card. The Chief Minister said that in the double-engine government, there is livelihood for the youth and there is also respect for faith. There is security for sisters, daughters, and businessmen. The government is working to advance development and conserve heritage. 

The state government is building the Khelo UP Center

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while praising the Raptinagar expansion and Sports City project, said that with this project, every section of the society will get the benefit of residential facilities as per their need, and at the same time, the international level stadium here will become a medium to advance the sports talent of the youth... He said that to promote sports, the Central Government is building Khelo India Centers in all the districts and similarly, the State Government is building Khelo UP Centres.

Our city is becoming smart, youth will also become smart

Adding a fertilizer factory, four-lane roads, AIIMS, Ramgarhtal along with a sports city and new township to the achievements of Gorakhpur, he said that when this project is completed, a new identity of Gorakhpur will be created. CM Yogi said that our city is becoming smart. Now our youth will also become smart. For this, he praised the work of GDA for creating smart classes in the council primary schools of the city.

We believe in solutions, not problems.

CM Yogi reminded Narendra Modi's public meeting held in Manbela in 2014 and said that the then government did not permit the fertilizer factory complex. Then, with the cooperation of the citizens, a historic meeting of Modi ji was held on this very ground. Attacking the previous government, he said that those who divided the society on caste lines and exploited them used to create problems for the people. He was reluctant to give compensation to the farmers. Whereas we believe in solutions, not problems.

Wished Holi, announced Modi government once again 

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wished everyone a happy Holi. He also said that at this time there is only one voice in the entire country, once again Modi government. CM also made the people loudly proclaim this slogan.

CM laid the foundation stone of these major projects

• Raptinagar Extension Township and Sports City, cost Rs 1799 crore.
• Establishment of Mahant Avedyanath Knowledge Science Park at Veer Bahadur Singh Nakshatrashala - cost Rs 17.21 crore.
• Smart road to connect Karimnagar intersection of Chargaon to Medical Road - cost Rs 13.47 crore.
• Works related to the maintenance of the water sports complex and operation of sports activities in Ramgarhtal - cost Rs 10 crore.

These major projects were inaugurated

• Gorakhpur Haat opposite City Mall in Civil Lines – Cost Rs 1.78 crore.
• Smart School and Gram Panchayat Building in Sonbarsa – Cost Rs 3.60 crore.
• Food Zone at Naya Savera (120 kiosks) – Cost Rs 2.04 crore.
• Rejuvenation of 42 primary/pre-secondary schools

GDA has built the project of the residential township Raptinagar Extension on 174 acres and the sports city project on 33 acres. Provisions have been made in the township according to the residential needs of every income group. In this, there will be 184 plots of 60 square meters for low-income groups, 213 plots of 75 square meters for MIG, 345 plots of 200 to 250 square meters, and 557 plots of 250 square meters for HIG. Along with this, there will be a multi-story building for EWS, LIG. There will be two plots for group housing for MIG and HIG category buildings, 46 plots for commercial category, and 7 plots for public convenience shops. There will be two plots for the school, four for a hostel, 5 for the clinic, two for the hospital, and one each for the hotel and multiplex. In the project, provision of plots has also been made for multi-level parking, a community center, a fire station, a police post, and a park. In the Sports City, there will be arrangements for an international level cricket stadium, football ground, tennis court, Kabaddi ground, volleyball court, athletics track, multipurpose sports complex, and shooting range.
