News Topical, Digital Desk : For the first time after the success of Operation Sindoor, Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi visited the border areas of Rajasthan. Here he interacted with the army soldiers and boosted their morale. Upendra Dwivedi visited Longewala in Jaisalmer, the forward front of Konark Corps.

He reviewed the action taken against Pakistan under Operation Sindoor. The Army Chief met the soldiers who foiled the Pakistani attack. The Army Chief congratulated the soldiers and also reviewed the preparations. Indian Army soldiers under the leadership of General Upendra Dwivedi also raised slogans of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'.

Army chief also visited Longewala post 

The Army Chief visited the Longewala post. Longewala is a small place in the Thar Desert in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. This area is on the border with Pakistan. This place has special importance because the post here was attacked by Pakistan between 4 and 7 December in 1971.

There was a fierce battle between the soldiers of both the countries here. In this battle, 120 Indian soldiers bravely faced the attack of 3,000 Pakistani soldiers and their 46 tanks. India won this war. The film Border has also been made on this battle.

CDS General Anil Chauhan visits Military Station and Air Force Station

After the Army Chief, CDS General Anil Chauhan also visited the military station and the Air Force Station. CDS General Anil Chauhan visited Suratgarh Military Station and Nalia Air Force Station and boosted the morale of the soldiers. Both these military bases are considered strategically important in the forward area. The CDS praised the courage of the soldiers for neutralizing the enemy threats during Operation Sindoor. He also asked the soldiers to be ready to face the challenges ahead.
