News Topical, Digital Desk : Tameshwar Nath Corridor:  Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave a big gift to Sant Kabir Nagar on Monday. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 528 development projects worth ₹ 1,515 crore in the district. During this, he announced that Baba Tameshwarnath Dham will be developed as a grand pilgrimage site like Ayodhya and Kashi. He said that this Dham will not only strengthen the religious identity of the district, but will also open new avenues of tourism and employment here.

The Chief Minister clearly said that no one will be displaced for the development of the Dham. Arrangements for systematic rehabilitation will be made and the interests of local shopkeepers, businessmen and Gosains will also be taken care of. He urged the administration and public representatives to prepare an action plan for the development of Baba Tameshwarnath Dham as soon as possible and send it to the government.

CM Yogi, citing the example of the development of Ayodhya, Kashi and Maa Vindhyavasini Dham, said that now the pilgrimage sites in Uttar Pradesh are also becoming modern and convenient for the devotees. He said that the rejuvenation of Baba Tameshwarnath Dham is also included in the priorities of the double engine government and this will change the picture of the district.

CM distributed cheques, keys and tablets
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also handed over cheques, house keys, laptops and tablets to the beneficiaries of various schemes of the Central and State Government. He informed that under the 'One District-One Product (ODOP)' scheme in UP, the bronze utensils of Bakhira have been recognised and thousands of artisans have got employment from this.

Praising the work going on in Sant Kabir Nagar, Yogi Adityanath said that unprecedented work is being done here in the field of roads, water, education, health, sports and urban development. He said that this is a new India and a new Uttar Pradesh, where the poor and the needy are getting the benefits of schemes without any discrimination.

The CM also said that in the last eight years, 8 lakh youths have got government jobs in the state and recently 60 thousand youths have been appointed in UP Police.

The Chief Minister said that schemes like Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and free ration have brought about a change in the lives of the poor. He said that the government's aim is that no person should be deprived of the benefits of the schemes.

Local public representatives, ministers and a large number of people participated in this historic event. A short film based on the development of the district was also screened in the program, which showed the changes that have taken place in the district in the last few years.

Baba Tameshwarnath Dham is the main religious place of Sant Kabir Nagar district, whose belief is thousands of years old. This place is considered a big center of faith in Purvanchal. Like Shri Ram Temple and Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Ayodhya, there is a crowd of devotees here too, but till now its extensive development could not take place. After the announcement of Chief Minister Yogi, now this Dham is going to enter a new era.

The Yogi government is focusing on the modernization of pilgrimage sites. Along with places like Ayodhya, Kashi, Vindhyachal, Chitrakoot and Naimisharanya, Baba Tameshwarnath is also being included in the list of major religious tourist places of the state.
