Amidst the ongoing passenger difficulties, the Railways has set up a help desk at Patna Airport, providing train information to passengers. This new system has been established at Patna Airport by the Danapur Division of East Central Railway to provide passengers with immediate alternative travel options in the event of flight cancellations. Special trains are being operated for passenger convenience.

A special train has been launched for passengers between Patna and Delhi to Anand Vihar Terminal, which will depart at 7:00 PM on December 9th and arrive by 2:00 PM the next day. Similarly, train number 02396 Anand Vihar Terminal-Patna Special will depart Anand Vihar at 6:00 PM on December 8th and arrive in Patna at 1:00 PM the next day.

Additional coaches in Sampoorna Kranti and Rajdhani

Train No. 05564 Anand Vihar Terminal-Darbhanga Special will depart at 00:05 on December 9th and arrive in Darbhanga at 23:00. Additionally, additional coaches are being added to the Rajdhani and Sampoorna Kranti Expresses. The Railways is attempting to provide convenience to some passengers in this way.
