Stacy Taylor of Plattsburgh, New York, appeared for arraignment this week on charges of smuggling Indians into the United States.
What are the allegations against the woman?
According to court records, Border Patrol agents stopped Taylor's vehicle near the Quebec border in January. Upon inspection, they found four foreign nationals—three Indian nationals and one Canadian—who had illegally crossed the US-Canadian border.

When law enforcement officials examined Taylor's cellphone, they found text messages that indicated she had been involved in several other smuggling operations in the days prior.
