News Topical, Digital Desk : Friday, February 27th is Amalaki Ekadashi (Amalaki Ekadashi 2026 Rituals). This day is dedicated entirely to Lord Vishnu, the Lord of the Universe. On this auspicious occasion, worship and devotion are offered to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, the protector of the universe. Devotees also observe the Ekadashi fast to obtain desired blessings.
Religious belief holds that observing the Amalaki Ekadashi fast forgives sins committed knowingly or unknowingly (Rangbhari Ekadashi Vrat Benefits). Furthermore, the devotee receives the blessings of Lakshmi Narayana. For this, devotees worship Lakshmi Narayana with devotion on Amalaki Ekadashi. If you too wish to overcome financial difficulties, then on Amalaki Ekadashi, after bathing and meditating, worship Lakshmi Narayana as per the rituals. Also, chant these mantras during the puja.
Ekadashi Mantra (Lakshmi Narayan Wealth Mantras)
1. Oṁ hr̥i śrīm krim śrīm krim klim śrīm mahālakṣmī fill my house with wealth fill me with wealth fill me with worry remove me remove me swaha.
2. Om Shreem Hreem Kleem Aim Soum Om Hreem Ka Ee La Hreem Has Sa Ka Ha La Hreem Sakal Hreem Soum Aim Kleem Hreem Shri Om.
3. ॐ O Yaksha, Kubera, Vaishravana, lord of wealth and grain,
grant me prosperity of wealth and grain.
4. ऊँ I offer my obeisances to Bhrigu who is like the lotus of Himakunda the supreme spiritual master of the demons and the preacher of all scriptures.
5. Shantakara, serpent-lying, lotus-naveled,
Lord of the gods, the support of the universe, like the sky, cloud-coloured, auspicious. I worship Vishnu,
the lover of Lakshmi, the lotus-eyed, accessible to meditation by the Yogis, dispeller of fear of birth and death, the sole lord of all the worlds.
6. Obeisances to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Maha Sudarsana, Vasudeva, Dhanvantari,
holding a pitcher of nectar, destroyer of all fears, reliever of all diseases,
path of the three worlds, Lord of the three worlds, Sri Mahavishnu-
form, Dhanvantari-form, Sri Sri Sri Aushadhachakra Narayana.
7. ॐ Vasudevaaya Vighmahe Vaidhyarajaaya Dhimahi Tanno Dhanvantari Prachodaya ||
ॐ Tatpurushaya gave us the knowledge of the nectar-bearing pitcher in our hands. May Dhanvantari inspire us
8. OM Guru of the gods and sages, like gold.
I offer my obeisances to that lord of the three worlds, Brihaspati, who is the embodiment of intelligence.
9. ॐ Sri Vishnuve विद्महे Vasudevaaya धीमहि तन्नो Vishnuḥ prachodayat.
