Demand for arrears of previous years

Akhilesh Yadav wrote on his social media handles, "Dear Shikshamitras, during our time you received 40,000 rupees. After nine years of harassment, the BJP government, fearing the unity, solidarity, and anger of the Shikshamitras, increased the amount by only 18,000 rupees, and that too out of fear of defeat. If the BJP is truly well-wisher, it should also pay the outstanding dues for previous years."

Appeal to cut 22,000 votes from each assembly constituency

Along with this, on the loss of 22 thousand rupees every month, he said, "Considering the loss of 22000 rupees every month that Shikshamitras have suffered for years due to the neglect of the BJP government, as a symbolic number, all the aggrieved Shikshamitras of every assembly will come together and form a 'PDA government' by taking a pledge to defeat the BJP by getting 22000 votes of their family members, relatives, well-wishers and people around them cast against the BJP because the maximum atrocities have been committed against the Shikshamitras and their families. We are committed to support the families of those Shikshamitras who had to lose their lives due to this BJP harassment in the future."
