News Topical, Digital Desk : Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has made a big statement on the seat-sharing formula in the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) for the proposed assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh in the year 2027.
While the SP chief has made it clear that there will be an alliance with the Indian National Congress, he also told on what basis the seats will be distributed.
When reporters asked Akhilesh Yadav, who was in Rewari, Haryana, how the seat distribution would be handled, the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister said, "For us, the issue isn't the number of seats; it's the ability to win. Those who can win will get tickets." Responding to a question about the possibility of contesting the Uttar Pradesh elections in alliance with the Congress, Yadav said, "The India alliance will remain, and the Congress will be with us."
The Kannauj MP on Sunday said his party will return to power in Uttar Pradesh after the assembly elections next year and expressed confidence that the opposition alliance will remain united.

Sources suggest that he may stake his claim to the assembly constituencies he won in the Lok Sabha elections. Yadav was in Rewari, Haryana, to attend a wedding. He targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party, saying it was going to lose the current assembly elections, including in West Bengal.
