News Topical, Digital Desk : Congress leader Salman Khurshid has given a blunt answer regarding the ceasefire after the India-Pakistan conflict. The Congress leader has said that Pakistan had suffered heavy losses in the conflict and that is why it offered a ceasefire. Along with this, he has termed all the claims and rumours related to the ceasefire as rubbish.

This statement of the Congress leader is different from his own party line. Congress was constantly questioning the government on the claims of Trump's alleged interference in the ceasefire. Salman Khurshid said that India did not contact Pakistan, but contacted Pakistan's DGMO to end the tension during Operation Sindoor.

'Who called first?'

Congress leader Salman Khurshid said, "One of you asked, why did we stop (ceasefire)? It is complete nonsense to say that we called them (Pakistan) first. Why did we call them first? When the call was made, who was receiving it? It is clear to everyone that the call came from Pakistan's DGMO to India's DGMO. And when he said 'stop it', we stopped and then we did not attack them any more."

Tharoor also gave a lesson to Pakistan

The Indian government has sent all-party delegations to many countries. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor is also a part of one of these delegations. Shashi Tharoor had given a befitting reply to Pakistan yesterday.

Shashi Tharoor had said, "Pakistan's access to Indus water was suspended because we had signed the agreement with mutual cordiality and good intentions. But Pakistan is continuously supporting terrorism, so we suspended the Indus Water Treaty."
