News Topical, Digital Desk : UP Politics: National President of Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) Chandrashekhar Azad reached Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. Here he gave the mantra of victory to the workers regarding the three-tier Panchayat elections and the 2027 elections. After this, the Nagina MP spoke to the journalists.
When asked what was the shortcoming in BSP that he wanted to fulfil, he said that the 15-year drought in politics is because of BSP. If there was no drought, we would not have been needed. That drought was visible in this Lok Sabha election as well.
This sharp comment of the Nagina MP has come at a time when BSP chief Mayawati has handed over the responsibility of the post of Chief National Coordinator to her nephew Akash Anand a month after his return to the party.
Chandrashekhar also spoke on these issues.
On the other hand, while talking to journalists, Azad also talked about making the jobs of contract workers permanent, but he will do it only when his government comes to power. He said that the way I brought the bill for reservation in the private sector, it was not a bill, it was the truth which should happen. At the same time, the contract workers are afraid that some action may be taken against them, so I want to assure them that they should not worry, I will make their service permanent when the time comes.
He said that the Azad Samaj Party will contest the three-tier panchayat elections of 2026 and the assembly elections of 2027 on its own strength. Azad also hinted at contesting on all seats in the assembly elections.
Apart from this, the MP said that elections should not be conducted through EVMs. He said that conducting elections through Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) is against the transparency of democracy and public trust. This system seems to be a part of the conspiracy of the ruling class, whose aim is to control the election process.
