1. Mother is enemy, father is enemy.
It is not appropriate to look like a swan in a gathering.

Acharya Chanakya says in his policy that a mother who doesn't educate her child is like an enemy, and a father who doesn't. An illiterate person is as unattractive in a gathering of scholars as a heron among a flock of swans. Therefore, it is essential for every parent to take full care of their child's education.

2. Lalnad Bahvo Doshastadnad Bahvo Gunah.
Tasmatputran ca shishyam cha tadayenn tu lalayet ॥

In this verse, Chanakya states that excessive pampering can lead to many defects in children. Therefore, sometimes reprimanding or strictness is necessary. In this verse, he states that children and students need chastisement, not pampering.
