Desire for power at any cost

To maintain power in the East African country of Uganda, Museveni fights politics like a "war." Museveni has been accused of resorting to gunfire to suppress the opposition. Museveni's son and army chief, Muhoozi, has even threatened to behead those who oppose his father.

Museveni himself once openly threatened protesters. According to reports, the Ugandan president said, "Before counting the crowds on the streets, count the 120 bullets of each of my soldiers. Anyone who causes a disturbance will regret it." It is said that opposition leaders wear bulletproof vests while campaigning for elections out of fear of Museveni.

Museveni has assets worth billions

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has a reputation as a dictator. He possesses both power and considerable wealth, making him a powerful leader. Museveni's convoy includes a Mercedes-Maybach S650 worth ₹100 million (approximately $100 million USD). He also uses luxury vehicles such as the Mercedes Pullman and Toyota Land Cruiser.

Museveni not only owns numerous luxury cars but also seven jets. One of these is a Gulfstream 5, which costs approximately ₹4.36 billion (4.36 billion rupees). Furthermore, Museveni's daily living expenses are estimated at ₹71 million (71 million rupees). He also owns over 100,000 cows.

Museveni is considered a dictator by the opposition in Uganda. He maintains a secret army called the Special Forces Command, which consists of 10,000 commandos. These commandos travel in armored vehicles wearing masks.

Museveni's commandos are notorious for kidnapping and silencing opponents. They report directly to President Museveni and his son, General Muhoozi, the army chief.
