News Topical, Digital Desk : Police have made a sensational discovery in the murder of Rahul, who had been missing since November 18th in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. Rahul was murdered, modeled after Saurabh of Meerut, by his wife Ruby and her lover Gaurav. As part of a conspiracy, they filed a missing person report for Rahul two days after the murder. They chopped up Rahul's body with a grinder, stuffed it into separate bags, and then threw it away. However, 27 days later, when parts of a body were found in a drain, police suspicions deepened. During interrogation, Ruby broke down and confessed to the crime.
Police have arrested the accused wife, Ruby, and her lover, Gaurav. They were having an illicit relationship, which Rahul discovered, and on the day of the incident, he caught them red-handed. They then stabbed him to death with an iron rod and a nail hammer.
What is the whole matter?
According to the police, Ruby had filed a missing person report for her husband, Rahul, at the Chandausi police station. The police launched an investigation. Twenty-seven days after the incident, the police recovered a half-decomposed body wrapped in polythene near a drain. Five days later, during the postmortem, a tattoo with the name "Rahul" was discovered on the severed hand, leading to the identification of the deceased. Police became suspicious after questioning the wife. Upon reaching the home and conducting a search, they found dried blood stains on an iron rod, a bed, and a heater.
During the police investigation, neighbors learned of the woman's affair. Her daughter also reported two men visiting their home. Following this, the police sent Ruby and her boyfriend Gaurav to jail.
Both were caught red-handed
During police interrogation, Ruby and Gaurav confessed to having a physical relationship and that Rahul had caught them in the act on the night of November 18th. They then stabbed him to death, striking him across the head with an iron rod and a shoe-nail hammer. The next day, to conceal the body, they chopped it into two pieces with a grinder, wrapped it in polythene, and threw one piece into the Ganges River at Rajghat and the other into the drain near the Idgah.
Sambhal SP Keshav Vishnoi said that along with the arrests, the instruments used in the murder have also been recovered. Both are being sent to jail and further action is being taken.
