
News Topical, Digital Desk : Four people were killed and three others were seriously injured in a tragic road accident at Kunjampatti near Usilampatti in Madurai district of Tamil Nadu when a speeding car hit seven members of a family who were crossing the road.
Madurai Superintendent of Police Arvind, while giving information about the incident, said that the accident happened on Saturday evening. The family members were crossing the road when an uncontrolled car hit them. The collision was so severe that four people died on the spot.
Four people including a wildlife activist died
At the same time, four people died on the spot in a horrific road accident in Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan on Friday night. The deceased include a wildlife lover, a forest department employee and two other aware citizens, who were going to investigate after receiving information about alleged deer hunting. Police officials informed that the accident occurred in the Lathi police station area of the district when a speeding truck and a camper vehicle collided head-on. The collision was so severe that all four persons riding in the camper died on the spot.
The deceased have been identified as Radheshyam Pemani, Shyam Vishnoi, Kanwar Singh and Surendra Chaudhary. According to the police, Radheshyam Pemani was a dedicated activist active in the conservation of wildlife in Jaisalmer, while Surendra Chaudhary was an employee working in the Rajasthan Forest Department. All four people had gone out to inspect the spot based on information about wildlife poaching.
