News Topical, Digital Desk : A horrifying incident has emerged from Muzaffarnagar, a district in western Uttar Pradesh, where a 6-year-old boy was attacked by a pit bull. The child was seriously injured in the attack and was immediately hospitalized.
Acting on a complaint, the police took strict action against the Pitbull owners and arrested one of the accused, while the other remains at large. Police have launched a search for the absconding accused. Further investigations are underway against the arrested accused.
What is the whole matter?
The incident occurred on Saturday (September 13) in Haripuram Colony, Kotwali New Mandi area. Two young men, Aatish and Akash, were walking their pitbull dog in a nearby vacant plot. When a 6-year-old boy came out of a nearby house, they deliberately set the dog on him.
The pit bull severely attacked the child's leg. The child was taken to the hospital, covered in blood, where he is currently undergoing treatment and is reported to be out of danger.
The family members complained to the police
Based on the family's complaint, the police filed a case against both youths and arrested the main accused, Aatish. Meanwhile, the accused, Akash, and his family members locked the house and fled, taking the dog with them. The police are searching for them.
New Mandi CO Raju Kumar Saw stated that the incident occurred on September 13th. The accused, Aatish and Akash, had a pitbull attack the child. A case has been filed and Aatish has been arrested. The child is out of danger. Further investigation is ongoing.
The CO also stated that the administration will now identify and issue notices to those who keep dangerous dogs like pit bulls in crowded areas. Instructions will also be issued to keep such dogs away from public places.
