News Topical, Digital Desk : A four-year-old girl has gone missing under suspicious circumstances from the Piran Kaliyar Dargah in Haridwar district, Uttarakhand. The girl had come with her mother and grandmother to visit the Sabir Pak shrine. Her sudden disappearance amidst the crowded area has caused a stir.

The missing girl has been identified as Sabreen, daughter of Gulshan, a resident of New Basti, Thana Kath Idgah, Moradabad district, Uttar Pradesh. Gulshan had been living in Piran Kaliyar with her mother, Amna, and daughter, Sabreen, for about a month.

The girl suddenly disappeared in the crowd

At around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, the three arrived at the dargah complex for a pilgrimage. A large crowd of pilgrims was already present there. During this time, the girl suddenly disappeared. The family searched the dargah complex and surrounding areas for hours, but found no trace.

The family members complained about the matter to the police

Upon receiving information about the incident, Piran Kaliyar police station in-charge Ravindra Kumar arrived at the scene with a police team. The team immediately began examining footage from CCTV cameras installed in the dargah complex. Based on a complaint filed by the girl's grandmother, Aamna, the police have registered a case of kidnapping against an unknown person. 

Three teams have been formed to search for the girl.

The station in-charge stated that separate police teams have been formed to search for the girl, and they are conducting search operations at various possible locations. Police in surrounding districts have also been alerted, and the public has been urged to immediately inform the nearest police station if they see the girl or any suspicious individuals.

Police officials also said that incidents of missing children have been reported in Piran Kaliyar before, but in most cases, the police have acted swiftly and recovered the children safely and handed them over to their families.
