Tilottama tells on the show that a director had told her that she would never be able to earn enough money in this industry to buy a favorite car for herself. The actress got emotional remembering this incident. She told that she proved the filmmaker wrong because she proved it in her next project itself.

 

The director said she cannot buy a car

Talking to Hollywood Reporter, she said, 'I worked with a director who paid me very little money. We were all at the wrap party of the film, when a person asked me what is that thing I really want? I mentioned a special car which was very expensive and said that I want to do such a film in which I get so much money that I can buy that car.

 

He told the whole story emotionally

Tilottama said that on hearing this, the director immediately said, 'I am very sorry to tell you this, but you will never be able to earn this much money. It is a bit strange but this is how the industry is. You are very talented, but unfortunately, you will never be able to earn this much.' He said this in such a tone that it seemed that his intentions were good but this thing stayed in my mind.

 

Fought for 4 months for the next project

After this, Tilottama talked about her next project. The actress said that he gave her everything she ever wanted. She stood her ground and kept negotiating for the project for four months. She fought for the money and finally got double the amount quoted at the party. The actress said that I signed the deal for double the amount, after which I also messaged the director and told him about it.
